The first step is to create a pattern, i chose to make a pattern of four triangles rotated around each other. Then I used a pathfinder option to create this.
Then take your pattern and create it into a pattern.
place your pattern on whatever shape you want it to be, and to center it, make sure to use the tilde key, the hey to the left of the number 1 on the keyboard, on both macs and pc's.
Center your pattern to your liking. The tilde key allows you to drag the pattern through the background, and not drag the entire patten itself.

These are my personal logo designs and I have created these because I wanted to use my letters to make something. So I created my personal logo from my letters of my name.
This is my revised logo design, and I chose to use Ice cube because I like to listen to his music, and I wanted to use a clipping mask for my personal logo.

this is my personal photoshop painting project. I decided to paint this because I thought it was funny that Ice Cube was hanging out with Ice Cube and I painted this because I like Ice Cube
The way that I did this was I just took the paintbrush tool and the eyedropper tool and I eye dropped specific colors from the original picture and used them to paint over the original picture

moving mountains
This project wasn't too hard, all we had to do was copy the instructions that we were given and do them exactly. I enjoyed being able to learn how to place items behind one another in photoshop, and make them look realistic. There was nothing that was very complex and I knew how to use all of the tools required.
The next time i do this, I would change the way i placed shadows and my position of my mountain. It doesn't look good enough for me.
I would keep my extras that I added in the same because I feel that it is creative.

Creative Anarchy
Creative Anarchy
In the article, the author discusses the fact that designers are breaking rules of design, and the ways that they are doing this. “There are no new ideas in design” states the article, as it says that you must ‘steal taken ideas, and re-redesign them’. The author makes point by saying that you must redesign something if you want to be successful in the design world. The article is strong in the sense that it was well written for the point it was getting across. The main weakness of the article is the repetitiveness. The article constantly mentions to ‘break the rules’ and to ‘show creative anarchy’ and the ways to show creative anarchy.
The author’s final thoughts of the article are that if you don’t break the rules and change things in design, you will be passed up, and looked over. You need to break the rules to stand out and to be noticed. The author does however support his claim to ‘break the rules of design’ enough to make the article legitimate and arguable.
Although the article was well thought out, I did not enjoy this article. I believed it was a waste of time to read and I wished that I would have read something interesting. This article was boring and had no appeal to me and I wish to work on things related to e-Comm instead of reading articles with little to no resemblance to graphic design. The only similarities that this article held to graphic design was the fact that it was about design. You can’t break any rules if there are no rules to break, and we always copy ideas, and redesign them anyways to make them ours.

Motif and pattern
My Motif took no design at all and no design process. I took a shield and duplicated it to rotate around on the point of the top of the shield. I united the 4 shields and gave it a white fill.
I placed 4 random arcs inside of the shields, and placed a blue rectangle around the shape to make sure it matched the blue that we chose e-Comm.
My pattern was easy and only included 1 circle that was rotated multiple times, as well as each circle was butted up against each other, with one more circle in the middle to fill space.

Pencils
When I tried to create my pencils, I had zero ideas on what to make, so I used some influence from friends. I used the same technique to create my creative pencil as I did when I created the "stock" pencil. While creating my complete personal piece, I wanted something with a bit of challenge, but with a sense of ease to it; that is why I chose to do Austin's Bar & Grill.
My three big takeaways from this project were: 1) How to split lines on the pencil evenly. 2) How to make 3-Dimensional objects that can have other excess objects placed inside of them. 3) While creating a creative piece, choose something not to complex, something that won't take to much time to create, but is not to easy at the same time.
wrestler video review
This video/interview was all about a teenage girl who wrestles and power lifts. Her family is very active in power lifting also and encourage her through her hobby. A few men wrestlers are interviewed in this video and it takes their opinion on what they think of a female wrestler. This video shows very nice shot composition, and some mid shots that don't have particular shots, but are nicely placed in general. This entire story was shot in a video, and was all about the teens life, how her daily routine goes, and what she does to work out and competition. On my own projects, I would use the type of shots produced in the video, and I would use the different types of close ups. I already knew how to make a half medium shot, and I saw it used in the video. The video creator did a very good job at close ups, and shot sequence. The creator could improve on using less shots that are not involved in the subject of the video (less extra shots).

What is graphic design

Graphic design is used in many professions making it a great job to have if you're successful, but can be a great fall back as a hobby and secondary career.

e-Comm final reflection
In my group, we tried to sell a toothbrush that plays music when you brush your teeth. We tried to show how someone now is happy to brush his teeth after he never wants to do it. We made sure that our video, animation, and graphics were all done in time to present the product. The video focuses on showing how the toothbrush can appeal to people of all ages. The program used to edit this video was Final Cut Pro, and it taught me to professionally edit my videos to make them better and more appealing.
In the Graphic Design rotation, I was one of the graphic designers, and I created the coupon. The coupon used CARP, which is a design tool that allows you to design products evenly, and align them so that they are evenly spaced along the product. The coupon incorporated our color scheme of purple and white, along with the company logo, and the banner. I also helped add ideas to the website, and i approved the banner and the advertisement for the product.
During the Animation rotation, I was the creator of the background for the product. I created a typical bathroom setting that a toothbrush would be found in, and in the screen shot that is shown above, I put in the sink and the product in its packaging into the screenshot since this is the only thing that means anything in the animation. The only problem i had with the animation is that I was gone on the last day of the animation rotation, so I couldn't put the product and packaging in the setting, but we were able to fix it.
My team worked very well together, and we had fun having to work on everything. At the very end of the year when we presented we could have prepared more, and put more effort in, but we made it all work out.

interview
During this quarter in the video strand of e-comm, I was introduced to new people that i didn’t know before in this class, and I got to work with some of my friends to make videos that we really enjoyed making. I have learned what the 6 shot system is, and how to use it properly, and what the rule of thirds is for interviews and formal videos. I now know how to use the tripod for all videos even though i wasn’t used to it. I had to work with people that I wasn’t used to also, and it made me learn more about the people in my class. I hope to follow video into my sophomore, junior, and senior year in high school, and to keep excelling at video production, and editing. I want to make videos that are about the school, and I want to be able to make videos freely, without any rules.

chase scene
In the chase scene, I learned how to not act, but actually complete actions and make them look real while doing it. I was able to run without looking fake, and fall down with force. I also learned how to work with multiple directors and another actor that created the storyline and had everything planned out. I had to get used to taking many commands.
In my next project, I plan on creating a much more detailed storyboard and creating it with the rest of my group members so that they know exactly what I want them to do instead of me having to try and explain it to them.
Collaboration on this project was much different just because there were more people to work with. In the next project, I will improve my collaboration by trying to work with a group of people that I’ve worked with before and that I know.

6 shot #2 AB sequence
During the AB sequence, I learned how to create better shots and how to
frame. While creating this video, I was able to work with two partners and
choose from one video. I had to use the environment to my advantage. In the
next video, I will use my editing skills to make my video flow better, and to
make it look professional. I will attempt to get all of my shots in order
in my next video so that I wont have to go out and re-film. The term
collaboration means to work together as a team. In this project, we had to
helicopter work together to make the video produce faster, and to keep each
other out of boredom. I will have to use collaboration in each of my projects
in the future so that I can make each video go by faster and so that I can edit
with success.

6 shot system
The 6 shot system is a sequence of videos or pictures that make a clean video. The shots are extra close up, close up, medium shot, wide shot, and extra wide shot. The extra close up is a shot of the hands, the close up is a face shot, the medium shot is from the waist up, the wide shot is a whole body shot, and the extra wide shot is the entire scene.
What i learned from this project was how to film each shot with precision and how to make each shot work out in sequence. I also learned how to make the shots line up in order to be clean. I had to re-teach myself how to use the blade tool and how to cut the music off to fit my video.
When I make my next project I will use the 6 shot system but I will put my own creative touch to it.

highlight video
While in final cut pro, I learned the ways to import and export by using command E & I. I also learned all of the blade tools and how to select short clips of certain videos using I & O. I had never used Final Cut Pro, so I had to learn everything to be able to use it, what I listed above were the main points.
I chose my hobby as dirt biking because I like being able to go fast on a motorized vehicle that is completely under my control. I also ride with my best friend who doesn't go to this school, but has the knowledge of how to ride and control the bike like I do. I chose to start riding for fun because my dad used to ride.
This hobby is important to me because it is surprisingly a good way to be active outside and gives you some exercise. You get moving and exercise from the way the bike reacts with the environment, and if you crash you have to be able to get the bike up and running again and that means lifting the bike when you're hurt and tired.
