The four words that I chose were emotional, assertive, progressive, and relaxed. This gave me the font of Cooper Black Italian. These words fit me because I am exactly what they say, i am relaxed, emotional, very assertive and I'm most definetily progressive. The font personalities are very unique to yourself because it shows you an accurate representation of what you act like.

With my font, I had to find the serifs, or if I could even find any. I had to label as many of the makeups of the font as possible and these are what I got. Every font is different and I would like to retest and get a new font. The counter's are the raises on the letters, the shoulder's are the parts that cut across the letters, and the terminal is the rounded ball at the end of a letter.

When using photoshop you have to remember that it is much different than illustrator in many ways. You can only undo once, you must always select a layer, and you have to change the opacity and light settings. But they have their own similarities too. They both have multiple layers that you get to use at once, and you can be very creative with both. Photoshop could be used with illustrator too because, you could create a new design in illustrator, and then edit it to your liking using photoshop. Photoshop is a great tool to use when editing pictures and designs. Illustrator is great for making those designs & for creating new ones.  

I like using illustrator better than photoshop because, photoshop is very difficult to use and to learn. Illustrator is easy to learn, and fast & fun!

 Orthogonal cubes 

The orthogonal cube is a cube that is given the effect of a 3-demensional shape that is only 2-demensional. We learned how to make this in class, and used our skills to create more of them in the courtyard. You can use the cubes for logos, and pictures. 
It was fun getting to work with the other classes to try and create a mass number of cubes, and other shapes. Now that I know how to make them, I should be able to use them on other logos, and in the business world. 

For my personal logo, I chose orange because it's a mix of red and yellow. So it mixes the emotions of optimism, hope, motivation and positivity.

The right pointing triangle symbolizes progression, moving forward, and future.
The downward triangle symbolizes caution, danger and dangerous objects ahead. The left facing triangle symbolizes regression, and decreasing power.

I chose the font of apple chancery because it had the long tails on the letters, and it was a built in italic that made me think that it was very fancy. If I had chosen a times new roman font, it would have been boring, and my audience wouldn't want to look at what my logo says.

Companies use colors to trigger  a list of emotions. Red is used to show energy, passion, action, violence, and even fire. Blue is used to show peace, calmness, and loyalty. Green is used to show freshness, growth, nature, and self reliance. Yellow is intellect, optimism and cheer, impatience, and cowardice.   When companies choose their logo colors, they want to trigger a certain emotion with a certain audience. Their goal is to get people to look at their logos, and want to go into that shop, or restaurant, or whatever it may be.

My personality type is ESTJ. This means that I utilize my understanding of what is right, what is wrong, and what is socially acceptable. ESTJ's meet promises, and they don't work alone. They expect reliability and a high work ethic. An ESTJ likes to hang around people and they have lots of energy, they get energy from other people. ESTJ's think ahead to the consequences, and they use their judgement over a percieved idea. Some famous ESTJ's include Henry Ford, Ice Cube, Hilary Clinton, and Dr. Phil.

Description of personality trait. 

My personality trait got about half of my actual personality correct, it was spot on when it said extravert, and sensing, but I don't normally think or judge, but it was correct with saying that thinking and judging was 1%.
I kind of understand myself better know, but I don't understand why I gravitate towards certain activities over others.
When the activity I'm in and it matches my personality, I usually excel, and I'm very good, but when it doesn't match up with me, I isolate myself so that I don't draw attention to myself so that people don't involve me.
People have misunderstood me in the past as a person who talks to much, is to hyper, as to energetic when I'm really not to much of anything. People have judged me like that and it sucks.

Graphic Design is the art of visualizing ideas. We use graphic design for everything like paying bills, and going out for fast food, and even to get gas. Without it the world would be colorless, boring, and and there would be no business. Graphic design is just another way to express your ideas. Designing graphically is easy, all you need is an idea, some paper, a computer, and some free time. Anyone can be a design artist, they just have to want to. I personally believe that making art for people to look at is great, but making art that people love is amazing.
